Restful Monday and Tuesday...

What a nice relaxing day I had yesterday. Just bummed around the house and started a new book. Actually I didn't start the book until the power went off. Yea, it went off again. This used to happen to us a lot the first year we moved into the cabin and we contemplated getting a generator. Then the next year it didn't happen very often so we didn't. It has been pretty good until this year. Guess they've let the trees grow a little to close to the lines and need to do some trimming.

Well, since the power was off and I was lying on the couch reading the old "sandman" hit me with his dust and I snoozed for a couple of hours. When I woke up I was starving and still no power. I didn't want anything cold so I just put up with the hunger pains until the power came back on. Luckily I stayed on plan. I was so afraid I'd eat everything in the kitchen I was so hungry.

Gonna have the same breakfast today as yesterday since I have half a can in the fridge. I know some of you think bean soup for breakfast is awful but I really hate cereal in the mornings. I'm not a sweets in the morning kinda person and never have been. I like my cereal at night before bed. So I usually have the half can of soup or a half sandwich for breakfast. Now if I could have bacon and eggs for breakfast, that would be the route I'd go but I can't.

Plans for today are much the same food wise and otherwise.

Yea if bean soup works for you then more power to you. Glad your getting some rest. Thanks for coming to visit. The weigh in when well. I'm right pleased with myself.

Bean soup??? Really?? Well I'm with Anna B., whatever works for you. I don't think bean soup has ever worked for me for any meal. Why can't you have eggs and bacon if you want too. Just count them.

Glad your resting up. I love PJ days. I'm looking forward to retirement God willing one day.

Grace and blessings to you.

Eat what tastes good and hits the spot. Who cares what time of the day it is!

That said....whenever I eat cereal, it seems like I'm hungry soooo quickly!!!

I love bean soup, although I must admit I'd never had it for breakfast. I've had other equally non-breakfast kinds of foods, however - so who's to say what's right? Do what works for you - that's my motto! :-)
