Another fun day!
We drove to Lewisburg and had lunch at the General Lewis Inn.
We then went to The Greenbrier Hotel and spent around 2 1/2 to 3 hours walking around and enjoying the beauty of it.
Front of The Greenbrier Hotel.
Main foyer, where they serve "High Tea" in the afternoons.
Granddaughter contemplating life (in West Virginia I'm sure).
After The Greenbrier we returned to Lewisburg and did a little shopping at the antique shops and gift shops. (All I bought was some Sugar Free Vanilla and Caramel Syrup for my coffee.) Stopped at Wal-Mart for groceries and came home. I even had a surprise waiting for me here...my friend from Richmond was here and he is staying the night and leaving tomorrow morning for Charleston.
Sorry this is so short but it is late and I had to wait in line to get to the computer. I am too tired tonight to read your blogs but fear not, I haven't forgotten you and will have some breathing time tomorrow to catch up on what is going on in your world.
Have a great Friday! I will!
