Back in the Saddle...

Whew, "today is the first day of the rest of my life." I feel so much better this morning after my REGULAR breakfast.

I had:

coffee with sugar free coffee mate
a half can of bean soup
8 saltines

Lunch plans:
1/2 peanut butter sandwich on light wheat bread
1 cup pineapple chunks

Dinner plans:
3 oz. grilled chicken
1 cup peas and mushrooms
1/2 cup noodles

Snacks:
1 oz. pretzels
1/2 cup cereal w/soy milk and fresh blackberries

I'm sure there will be more but at least I have a plan. Looking back there aren't enough vegetables there and I may need more protein too.

I'm taking today and tomorrow off! Don't even plan on getting out of my jammies either day. Have no one scheduled to come visit me so why not take it easy. Am going to meet a friend Wednesday and she may want to come to the cabin so I will at least have to do a little house cleaning, but there's not much planned in that area.

Did you look at my post yesterday? In case you didn't you at least need to go look at the picture at the bottom of the post. I had a bear visit my yard yesterday!! WOW!! It was so awesome!!

Hope your week is a productive one. Mine won't be :o)

If you squeezed in one of those protein bars, that'd probably give you the extra protein you need for the day. I don't know, though, the bean soup and peanut butter and chicken are surely enough protein for the day, you think? You only need 40 grams a day. I'll bet you're pretty close to it with what you already have planned.

That's such a cute little cartoon. And the fact that it's a bear is just sooo cute. And sitting there drinking coffee is perfect!

Thanks for chatting over my way. Hey, do you ever get scared at night out there in the woods? I'm a big chicken. My mom was a widow and never remarried. Nothing ever scared her. All 5'2" of her. Now me...not so much. Bears knocking on my door when I am all alone. yikes!
Bean soup for breakfast...whats up with that? (o:Fiber 1 with blueberries..yum. It has 5 grams of protien plus milk has 8 grams...and 13 grams of fiber, not counting the berries. Have you ever tried a Boca burger? 18 grams of protien, 100 calories (these are the BIG ones. There are smaller ones for less.) I have that on a lite bun with all the fixins(not cheese or add more points) 3 points. For a 1 point snack, WW yogart for 1 point. Air popped corn with spray butter.(fake) Eat a whole bowel for 1 or 2 points. I always like to get other peoples ideas on what they are eating. Just fun ideas.

I'm glad to read that you're going to take it easy and get some rest! It's so nice to have company come, but it's nice when they leave and you can catch your breath.

LOVED the photo of the bear from yesterday! What a sight! And the bear graphic fits your post today so well!

So glad you all had a great vacation. The pics are all fabulous. Yes - bean soup for breaky - go you rebel!!

Isn't it great to get in enough shape that you can keep up and not be sore afterwards??? Over 2000 calories burned - WOW! That's the rewards kicking in, baby.
