Same Things...

Yesterday was pretty much the same eating wise as it had been the past few days. I've only gone over my high calorie number one time in the past 4 days but that is too high to show a loss come Wednesday, I know. Just can't help it. Surely the tummy will stop growling soon and I can get back on track. The over eating I've been doing is healthy stuff like yogurt, a low-fat granola bar, homemade apple sauce, light pop corn and so forth. Oops, I did have one dark chocolate kiss yesterday and it was soooooo goooooooood.

Finished a book yesterday morning. It only took me 2 days to read it. Do you think that maybe all I did for 2 days was read? Yep, you're right.

Hope you have a great Sunday afternoon, blog buds.

So what did you read? I have a hold on the new book by Ann Rivers Siddons. There is a big giant 'todo' about the twilight series...vampires... seems crazy, but so popular.

I get like that sometimes--growl, growl, growl, all day long. Good for YOU for having healthier snacks on hand for the deluge!

My new favorite snack is pumpkins seeds. I eat them shell and all. They're nutritious AND filling.

hang in there. Maybe instead of eating so little, you can find lower calorie foods you can eat more of so you won't feel deprived?

Might be surprised at your weigh in if you only went over one day. Did you keep up with your water consumption? Been reading like a crazed person myself. Start a good book and can't put it down. Can't eat when I read, so been doing OK, but I should be ezercising some of that time. Keep up the good work!

I don't remember who but one of the blogger's I read referrece to Granola bars as crack because you get hooked on them. I've never eaten one that I would get hooked one. You probably are doing better than you think you are. That dark kiss sounds wonderful. I'm having one of those days today but trying to combat it by blogging. HA!

You know, I am sometimes amazed at myself when I talk about overeating....and I realize I do it with the healthy stuff! That in itself is a HUGE step in the right direction!

Sounds like a GREAT 2 days!

You know a friend told me about something I hadn't thought of that much before. I know I did some research about how much sugar our bodies need, (40 grams a day) but I really hadn't done much with that. I mean, I've been watching my sugar intake, but I haven't been reading the labels on my "healthy" food. She mentioned that sometimes "healthy" foods (low in fat or calories or high in fiber or protein) are sometimes high in sugar. She recommended not going over 4 grams of sugar per serving. That makes good sense. Maybe you should look at your labels. Maybe you're eating perfectly healthy food but it's preventing you from losing weight because of high sugar (or even sodium) content. Just something to think about.
