The Birds and the Bees...

Got my new do with streaks and all. Helps the grey blend in :o)

Eating went pretty good yesterday because the power went out and I had to go to bed early with my book and my new book light. That way I wasn't tempted to snack all evening. Boy is the book light nice. Before I got it I was propping the flashlight on my shoulder and it's one of those mag lights and it sure is heavy.

Now these humming birds are driving me crazy. I got the second feeder and both hold a quart of liquid. So now when I fill them up I only have to do it every other day. But the birds... Being right outside my window I see them flitting around all the time and at last count there were 11. It's sort of like a swarm of bees. They are really getting on my nerves. So much so that I'm considering moving the feeders back to the front porch so that I don't have to look at them all the time or see them out of my peripheral vision.

Happy Thursday blog buddies.

Yippee! Anything that keeps me from eating is a great thing!

I have to say, I am laughing at your hummingbird 'dilema'. Just a few weeks ago you were so enthralled and excited about them. But they are really flocking to you!

Does it get annoying to have the power on and off all the time, or do you like it? It sorta keeps you on your toes! haha

How could you ever get annoyed with something so tiny-tiny as a cute little precious humming bird??? 8)

Oh you had me rolling with this! I can't believe this is the same woman who was so excited when the hummies first showed up! (We are too much alike for words sometimes. *g*)

Glad the eating went well. Tucked up in bed with a good book sounds better than food. Hmmm. In fact, we're having a storm right now. Maybe I'll go turn off all the lights and pretend...

I love my hummers, and they do go through the sugar water (my little grand nephew calls it "hummer juice.") Then when the orioles arrive, we make even more!

Curling up with a good book and a little book light sounds much better than a mag light! :-)
