OMG, I made JC's Taco Soup today and it is to die for. Wanted to make it early so it would cool enough to freeze some. I don't know if I'll have enough to freeze after I get through with this pot. It makes 15 cups and I've already had three today. One for breakfast(as soon as it was done), one for lunch and one for supper. It is that good. I have had some fruit too but the soup is better. Think I will freeze some tonight just so that I won't be tempted to finish it off and over do it. It is so surprising that it sticks to the ribs so well.
Well, that's been my day. Makin' soup and eatin' it.
Hope your's was more productive.
A birthday like no other!

The pics were great. You really do live 'off road'. That is come road to your house. I thought it was a trail before I read your discription. Hey, you did good. I would find it hard to be at a place like that...with out eating any special food.
S0 GLAD YOU LOVE THE SOUP!!! It is a Weight Watcher recipe. It was given to us at our meeting last Monday night on a sheet giving us tips on soup making. I love that it has just one point so I can add a little FF chesse or FF sour cream or even have some low fat tortilla chips with it. I like it just by itself the best and you can get all the ingredients at any store. I got all the ingredients at Walmart and calculated cost per serving it was .40. Its the accountant part of me coming out. I missed posting yesterday, I was so busy with pricing yard sale stuff.
what is a great northern bean? does it have another name?
