Hungry? Not Me...

I just scrolled down my blog bud list and discovered some that I hadn't visited in a while. Actually, it said they hadn't posted in several days or weeks but the titles looked different to me so I checked them out and found out that they had posted in the past day. What's with this blogger thing? So sorry if you haven't gotten a comment from me in a while and thought I was snubbing you but I wasn't . I was counting on the blog list to let me know when you had posted a new blog and it didn't. I will be more careful in the future and check in with you no matter what the date says.

I'm having a rough time sticking with this "diet" thing right now. Don't know what is wrong. I'm not eating the wrong stuff but just too much of the right stuff. I gotta get my butt in gear and quit this. And the worst part of it is I'm eating when I'm not hungry. Don't know what has gotten into me. And instead of my usual one cup of soup, I am sometimes eating another cup, thinking that tasted so good I'll just have another. There is one day's menu that will keep me on the straight and narrow but it gets so boring that I can't seem to stick with it for more than a couple of days. And if I go off it, I over eat. I just have to get this 9 pounds back off so I can continue this maintenance correctly.

Been having some trouble with one of my doggies. He has been nipping lately and out right bit me the other day. There was another dog involved when he bit me but he wasn't in the middle of a ruckus with the other dog. He was nipping at him from across the room for no reason and when I reprimanded him he turned and bit me. It didn't bring blood but bruised my hand. I'm going to keep an eye on him and try to find something that he has done wrong and try the reprimanding again and if he turns on me again, I'll have to have him put down. It's just too dangerous to have a biting dog around. The worst part is he has always been the gentle one all his life and his sister has been the high strung one and now she is the gentle one. They are 10 years old now and that isn't really old for a small dog but maybe he is getting senile or maybe it's because he only has one eye and the sight in that eye isn't very good. I just don't know.

Have a great Hump Day!

I find that if I have a 400-500 calorie meal, I don't feel the need snack.

Before I would have like 200 calorie breakfasts, and by 10:30 I'd be starving.

Hang in there! :D

That's too bad about your dog - maybe he's got an ear infection or something that's making him super grouchy?

I hate having the hungries - and you're right, even with eating the good food, you can still have too much of it.

I know exactly how you feel. I, too, have over done the right foods in the wrong amounts. I haven't found the key to success yet in that regard. Just keep pluggin' away.

Lots of bloggers have been complaining that the blog lists don't update properly. Mine has been fine, I think, but lots of others have been having issues.

Shelley has a good point about your doggies ear. Ours gets ear infections and he acts up.

Don't cut down too much on your calories all at once. Your tummy will feel like it's being starved. Hang in there. You've done it before and you will do it again!

I was having major issues with my blog list, and that's how I know to read a new post too. I sure hope they get the issue resolved.

Another blogger just got attacked by her cat, and he was always the gentle one as well. I am glad your injury wasn't too severe, and I sure hope your dog behaves next time.

So sorry about your doggie problems. That is really a hard call. Hope you just keep trying with the eating right thing. I have been eating lots of mini carrots. They seem to fill me up and keep me from eating other stuff (o:

Sometimes i just get the munchies...like all day munchies...LOL! And at least by over eating on the 'right' things your doing damage control. Do something to help you break out of the cycle of munching. Take a impromtu nap or go for a walk. This munching thing has become a bad habit you gotta break FREE! ;) JInx!

Hopefully your dog nipped because of the presence of another dog. That is highly probable. It's a hard decision to make.

I wish I had the answer to how to stay on track, not eat everything plus the kitchen sink (even though it's a healthy one)! OF course, if I had the answer, I'd be a millionaire!!!

GOod luck with the doggie. Could it be the excitement of the guests this past weekend?????

I'm the same as biz...I am ok having a small breakfast, but I had to up my lunch to about 300 calories and I probably should up it a little more. If I have small meals, I snack in the middle and that's where I go bad.

My bloglists have been doing the same thing and it's annoying!

Maybe your dog has hearing issue too, combined with not being able to see very well, maybe it got startled and nipped you?

Hang in on the food. I find that I go through times when I'm not hungry at all and other times I could eat all day and not be full!
