Awww. I'm sorry. A good hairdresser is hard to find, and unfortunately it takes a couple bad haircuts to find them.
The bright side is, it's not too short! So, you could try again in just a few weeks.
And, the shape you got is sort of right, so you could still get it pretty close to the picture through a lot of styling. Blow dry it up with a big round brush and use the right product combo...
It could have been much worse though! I have had much worse. (much)
To be perfectly, 100% honest with you, I think your hairstyle looks good. You might get that pixie-ish look from that first photo if you used a bit of hairspray :)
Sorry you don't like it. When do any of us like a new do? It never looks right on me...or anyway I can't make it look like I want it to. I do like your hair, but if you don't, that is what counts I guess (o: My daughter is always trying to show me how to use this or that product. I just want my young hair back....the hair that is not so wimpy. Oh well!
Okay! First of all when I saw the first picture... I expected to see a greenhairedmonster... I kind of like it on you though... I must say as I was scrolling down to see your picture I was giggling at the thought of what the picture might hold... YOU LOOK GREAT!
I think it's cute! Just get some product (I use Redkin Rewind 06 - expensive, but it lasts me about a year) - use a tiny bit, and you can shape your hair into that style. Also, blow dry your "bangs" downward. I've had pretty much the same style as your blonde picture, and it can be done with your new cut.
I love spikey hair! I agree you just need more product. Did the hairdresser show you how to spike, did she spike it for you? Is that picture after she styled it? I think when you blow dry it if you bend over and blow dry your hair towards the floor, does that make sense, and run your fingers through your hair as your blow drying it, it will be a bit spikey. The you spray it...
I live on a mountain in the beautiful state of West Virginia. I have started this weight loss journey many times before. I am now on maintenance and I feel in my heart that this time it will be for keeps. I have two beautiful daughters who inspire me and support me in everything I do. I wouldn't be the person I am today without them.
I am an avid crocheter and reader and live alone with my two doggies whom I affectionately call "the kids" since they are the only little people [yes people!] in my household.

Oooh, I like it! You need a little more "product" in it to match the photo, but it's working for you as is.
Now, I want spiky hair, too!
You can get it to do that. I don't know what product the hairdresser used in your hair, but you can use a creme product. I use "hairplay" by KMS.

it's a molding creme, then blowdry and brush upwards and then use your fingers to manuever your hair to the way you want. I have a similar haircut.
If you try the creme, keep in mind a dab will do ya!
p.s. Nice to finally put a face to the blog :)
I think it looks good! Sorry it wasn't what you wanted, tho.

Getting a good hair due, is always interesting. Keep playing around with it.
I love it! It looks a lot like the picture. I agree with the others that when you add some mousse or gel and blow dry you can make it look like it.
You look young and fresh!!
Aww, you're so cute, especially your smile!!
I love your new do! What's wrong with it?

It may not be what your looking for, but it's still cute on you!
