Fog on the Mountain and Run Boys Run...

Things were so strange here yesterday evening. I've never seen this before. We got about 4 inches of snow and it got warm enough to melt some of it during the afternoon. Then in the evening the fog set in. I've never seen fog after a snow before. Woke up in the middle of the night to tinkle and the fog was still there with the full moon visible through the trees. It looked just like it was just before dark when it was actually 3 AM. I picked up the camera and went outside in my jammies and tried to get a pic for you but it didn't turn out.

We get really dense fog here often. Actually I think it's the clouds that are just hanging around on top of the mountain because when it happens I can't even see my car which is only about 50 feet from the front door.

Silly me, I've already eaten the left over smoked sausage. I had it for breakfast. I just couldn't help myself because it was calling my name really really loud (or is it loudly).

Not much on my agenda this weekend. Well, actually there's nothing on my agenda this weekend. Don't you wish you were me and didn't have anything to do? Well, I don't. I wish...never mind what I wish. I could change my life if I wanted to but I'm just to lazy to do that.

Hope you have a great weekend.

PS: I sure wish blogger would fix what ever it is that causes extra line breaks or no line breaks to occur when adding pics. This is driving me crazy!!

PPS: Cammy's having a giveaway so go check her out.

We had that snow for last week too and it was very strange and beautiful.

I do wish I had less to do! 2 kids b-ball games, lunch with my folks and we just finishing some hardwood flooring. I would love some quiet mountain solitude.

I guess the grass is always greener.

Had to work this morning, but now I'm home watching TV. I live an exciting life.

Tomorrow's agenda: watch TV - Oh so sad!

Have an eventful weekend

I love that picture! Now, what does the "run boys run" refer to?

Yeah, I do envy you a weekend of quiet and solitude. Why can't we find a happy medium in life????

Thank you for mentioning my contest! And I apologize for spamming your blog with the news of it. I just felt bad for the WW people who were nice enough to send me their cookbook, and then the stoopid feed thing didn't work! (Can we say stressss?)

Thank you also for risking pneumonia to get that beautiful photo! I can only imagine being there in the stillness and the beauty. {sigh}

Sausage for breakfast sounds normal. Now, if you'd had those brussel sprouts...

:)

Yesterday was hectic. Got up early , ran a 5k, went to the health club with hubby and warmed up by swimming in the pool and sitting in the whirlpool. MMMMmmm! Good, Ate out at Chili's BAAAADDDD!!! But sooo good! Went grocery shopping, spent the rest of the day lounging around at the house. Today i work . Yuk! Though i'm off Mon , Tues. That fog sounds beautifully creepy! LOL! Jinx!

Hey Deborah,
When I lived in upstate NY I had some serious issues with fog. It would roll in fast. One day on my way home from work, I was on a very hilly road and all of a sudden the fog set in, I got so disoriented. I felt like I was lost, I was lost. It was a scary couple of minutes trying to get of that busy, hilly road! I do miss snow though!

Cool picture!
the other week the same thing happened here. So wierd that it is foggy and freezing at the same time. Just counting the days until spring!
