Houston, We Have...

Snow! It finally started yesterday afternoon and it was just about the prettiest snow fall I've ever seen. It was perfect as snow falls go. And it's still going. Not too much accumulation so far (4 inches) but enough to be really pretty.

I remembered to put my HRM on yesterday when I did the WiiFit Aerobics and get this... I did it for 15 minutes and burned 358 calories. Tell me I wasn't sweatin'. I even ran for 2 minutes! It lets you set your own pace and then calculates some sort of percentage. After you reach a certain percentage it unlocks a longer run. Right now I'm sticking to the 2 minutes. That's enough for this old body. It even has a place that weighs you and figures your BMI but it only suggests doing that every two weeks. So I will keep track of my maintenance weight that way instead of the conventional scales.

Karen at Fitcetera is having surgery today. Keep her in your prayers.

We had a light dusting (about an inch) of snow here....soooo very pretty! And a wonderful excuse to get up and walk outside early in the morning!

Way to go on the WiiFit. I may have to break down and get one!

WiiFit news is very interesting to me. Maybe I'll get one at some point. Good job with it so far. We have snow here too. In fact when everyone left home to go to work this morning they were surprised mid-journey with a sudden and unannounced blizzard. We all commented as we arrived that we didn't even know it was supposed to snow again. The weather guy didn't want to warn us I guess.

Well, it's sunny and our high today is expected to be 69! I rode my bike yesterday and today looks good for another.

Isn't the Wii incredible? I need to get a HRM. Sparkpeople actually has the Wii Fit in their activity calculator. Too, cool!

I hope someone lets us know about Karen. I'm praying for total healing.

Hmmm, glad to hear you're exercising. I must live near Tena, it's short-sleeve weather here. Did I do something wrong to be taken off your blog list?

Snow sounds good. We were 59 degrees today. I know we will have one whopper storm before the winter is over. Might as well have it now (o: The wii sounds so cool. Have fun.
